The pumping station "1300" has been drained after an accident, due to which the water supply to Shumen was stopped, the press center of "Water Supply and Sewerage (Vik) - Shumen" OOD announced.
As a result of a sudden power outage to the "Pumping Station 1300" in Shumen, caused by adverse weather conditions, an accident occurred at the main shut-off valve. The emergency teams of ViK - Shumen are on site and the necessary organization has been created to assess and take action to restore the operation of the pumping station, the water supply company specified.
They added that ViK - Shumen will provide additional information about the progress of the renovation work.
