The video shows two masked men coming on a motorbike to the front door of Samuil Popov. Then they enter his property, where the mayor's car is parked. Carrying two cans of flammable liquid, one of the arsonists pours the front hood of the car and makes a strip of the fuel that he sets on fire, darik.bg specified.
Popov confirmed that he noticed a motorcycle moving away from his property when he went out to check what was happening, and on the cameras he saw that the faces were wearing masks. He also indicated that he had previously reported threats against him, but he was not provided with the necessary assistance.
We recall that on July 11 last year, an attack was carried out against the secretary in the mayor's office. Two masked men entered there with an owl. At the time, Popov believed that pressure was being exerted because someone was profiting from renting municipal space. This time, however, he does not know if it is related to the same case and hopes that the investigation will yield results.
