Prof. Petar Cholakov.
"I hear interesting things, it is curious if Iliyana Yotova and Andrey Gyurov bet on a more colorful cabinet, which would seek support from different formations in parliament, rather unexpected formations. I don't know how a motley cabinet with Bachvarova will affect PP-DB electorally. The other thing that worries me is this drama surrounding Gyurov's incompatibility as deputy governor of the BNB. It is possible that the presidency has inside information from the court in Luxembourg", commented Assoc. Prof. Cholakov in the program "Nescho pove".
According to him, establishing the incompatibility of Andrey Gyurov is the darkest scenario and "the risk is also for the PP-DB, if it turns out that he is incompatibility":
"This will have a negative effect on the PP-DB, and they now have other troubles because of Petrokhan."
Based on the sociological survey, Assoc. Prof. Cholakov believes that "Radev has obviously come out with a large network on the party field":
"The structure remains to be seen and will probably reflect the attitudes towards this political force. There were certain expectations in society for the emergence of such a project, and with this move, a risky move for Radev and unprecedented in our political history - he resigns and appears, it is clear that at least for the moment this move was justified. Because the sociological study places him as the first political force."
And according to Assoc. Prof. Cholakov it is very interesting that Radev attracts voters for "Vazrazhdane", and they are staunch Eurosceptics.
"For me as a researcher, the answer of Kostadinov and "Vazrazhdane" is interesting, whether they will not radicalize. Radev winks in the direction of Brussels and has shown the Kremlin that he does not want relations to deteriorate, they must improve. Whether Radev's project will be successfully implanted, we do not know," said the political scientist.
