Police teams searched the house of Ivaylo Kalushev in the village of Bulgari.
The "Criminal Police" to the Regional Directorate of Internal Affairs in Burgas and the district police department in the town of Tsarevo.
According to unofficial information, the order to search Kalushev's house came from Sofia.
The law enforcement agencies entered the property for the first time, after more than a week ago they only inspected it from the outside.
The Burgas police said that they expected to find mainly documents, as well as video recordings that would help in the investigation.
Kiro Stoyanov is a local resident who lives nearby.
He says he doesn't know Ivaylo Kalushev, he hasn't even seen him.
"I only saw the cars when they passed by here. They never greeted us. They drove by in a hurry. They were loading up here and that's it," he commented.
According to him, jeeps were passing by - highly equipped.
"And it struck me that maybe they had some kind of equipment in the jeeps", Stoyanov commented.
"I only saw a child and a woman once. A child - maybe 10-12 years old. I'm not there anymore", he pointed out.
"Here, in this place, there were local people who lived. They all died of old age. There were about five children - three brothers and two sisters,", the local man said.
Ivail Kalushev's property was acquired in 2023. According to neighbors, the previous owner was a Russian. What the law enforcement officers will find and whether they have found any evidence remains to be seen.
