The newly elected Acting Minister of Innovation and Growth Irena Mladenova accepted the post from Tomislav Donchev during a ceremony at the ministry.
„I will work purposefully for an environment in which ideas develop, thoughtful innovations lead to economic growth, and the results benefit business and people. The focus will also be on the timely implementation of the European programs of the MIR for business“, said Mladenova. She also emphasized the importance of the development of the innovation ecosystem. „Innovations can move our country's economy to the next step and this is our task and goal“, she said.
„Behind every initiated reform are people and efforts. Continuity is respect for their work and a guarantee that the result will happen“, Donchev added.
Upon taking office, Minister Mladenova held a short meeting and greeted the representatives of the European Space Agency (ESA), who are today on a working visit to the ISS in connection with the annual review of current projects funded under the Agency's programs.
