There were two possible solutions from the point of view of the composition of the service cabinet, the most important question that I see that many people are confused about is “Whose cabinet is this?“. The Prime Minister of this cabinet has a very clear affiliation. He is from PP-DB and GERB, as a result of the so-called “home book“. This was said on the air of “Good Morning, Europe” by the political psychologist Prof. Antoaneta Hristova.
Andrei Gyurov had two options in this situation - to create an expert cabinet, with little-known people inside, who would calm that part of society that is dissatisfied with the status quo in general. The status quo refers to everyone who has been in power in the last 4-5 years. This includes the PP-DB. This means that there should have been three very bright, strong anti-status quo individuals who should have taken over the Ministry of Interior, the position of Minister of Justice and Information Technology, and the rest should simply be experts who would carry the government until the elections. At the moment, we have a categorical cabinet of the PP-DB and GERB with very clear messages in terms of the choice of ministers and a very clear delineation of the red line that the political parties that are in parliament at the moment wanted to, but had difficulty implementing. We have the old PP-DB and GERB coalition against Novo nachlaso.
Communications expert Lyubomir Alamanov indicated that he does not quite agree that this is a cabinet of the coalition, at least as far as the reactions of people who like GERB are concerned.
„They are quite strongly against this cabinet. Let's not forget the two official offices of Dimitar Glavchev, which were presented as neutral, expert. There is no point in going too far in this direction, the people are quite expert, it is natural that everyone has had some position over the years, some of these experts were not members of any party. I rather want to see what their actions will be. There are only two months and we have to see whether in this short period of time they will manage to restore people's trust in the electoral process and politics in general“, also commented Alamanov.
