I hope the new heads of the Ministry of Interior will act wisely and responsibly, and not try to cover up the tracks of certain political formations, said the leader of the ITN

"The topic "Petrohan" is very important. For our sake, for the sake of our attitude, Bulgarians, towards children, for the sake of justice, and I will not stop informing you and asking questions until this case is resolved".

This is how Slavi Trifonov begins his Facebook post.

Therefore, since today /b. r. Sunday/ I have certain information, I ask the following questions:

First - Did the Minister of Interior Emil Dechev call the police officers involved in the "Petrohan" case today at the "Niagara" restaurant, located at 2 "Doyran" Str. in Sofia?

Second - Did the Minister of Interior Emil Dechev put pressure on the police officers to cover up the traces of the PP-DB in the "Petrohan" case?

Third - Will the Prosecutor's Office take action to verify the latest information in this direction, because if the information turns out to be true, this is actually a crime?

Look now, the "Petrohan" case is of enormous importance. In my opinion, nothing can be swept aside and nothing can be concealed. And again, in my opinion, all state bodies working on this case should be left to do their job quickly, inform us about the results and the public should finally calm down. And I sincerely hope that the new heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will act wisely and responsibly, and not try to cover up the tracks of certain political formations," concludes Trifonov.

Last week, rumors appeared about the resignations of Interior Minister Emil Dechev due to the "Petrohan" and "Okolchitsa" cases.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs later clarified that the allegations of the "resignations" of those working on the cases are not true.
