Partial mayoral elections: DPS won in two villages, GERB in one, run-offs are coming in several places

Second round will bring the outcome in Malo Konare, Pazardzhik

Partial mayoral elections were held in 8 settlements in the country. In the Pazardzhik village of Malo Konare, independent candidate Doncho Tsarvulanov and Yordan Peev from PP-DB will run in the run-off, our correspondent Nevena Petrova reported.

Election day there ended with 33.37% turnout. Election day passed without violations in the Kirkovo villages of Valchanka and Druzhintsi. In Valchanka, the Municipal Election Commission announced the winner of Yusein Chilengir from the Movement for Rights and Freedoms. In Druzhintsi, Asen Pachev, also from DPS, won.

The turnout in the partial mayoral elections in the Kyustendil village of Barakovo exceeded 60 percent. There, Tsvetanka Ivanova, nominated by GERB, won in the first round. The elections in the other Kyustendil village - Blazhievo, passed peacefully and with high turnout.

No mayor was elected in the Petritski village of Gabrene, where a partial vote was held. With a difference of a few votes, the candidates of GERB, Marin Yankov, and PP-DB, Georgi Harizanov, are going to the runoff, our correspondent Keti Trencheva reported. The voter turnout was over 60 percent, with people voting on machine devices and with a paper ballot.

In the village of Venelin, Dolni Chiflik municipality, there will also be a runoff - between Edaet Niaziev, nominated by GERB, and Georgi Georgiev from the Agricultural People's Union.
