Tomorrow we will submit the draft for the second budget extension law to the Council of Ministers. This was announced by the acting Minister of Finance Georgi Klisurski to the delegates of the 39th General Assembly of the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria (NAMB).
He pointed out that since it is not clear what vacation the parliament will go into before March 19, they have decided to submit the extension law tomorrow in order to have it adopted before March 19.
Klisurski specified that the main thing that is changing in the extension law is that its term of validity will not be until March 31, but until the adoption of a new regular budget for 2026. According to the minister, in this way, in different scenarios - a governing majority in parliament or new elections, uncertainty will not be created.
