"We carefully examined the documents for the "Petrohan" chalet. In November 2021, the then acting minister signed a sale of this property to the foundation in question (NAKZT, ed. note). We do not know what the motives are at the moment", said the acting Minister of Agriculture and Food Ivan Hristanov when asked about the "Petrohan-Okolchitsa" case.
"Whether there was political pressure or this was a decision based on arguments, there is no clarity", he said, quoted by novini.bg.
"We see a sale order for this property, after which the sale was carried out in a very short time term. I would say, an unusually short term. On the other hand, the IAG has behaved extremely professionally all the time, they have conducted inspections and issued prescriptions, so we have absolutely no doubts about their actions and intentions since 2022," said Hristanov.
"The price of the hut is determined by regulation, but determining the price is usually a trivial and bureaucratic process," the acting minister added.
