Freedom is a question that is asked of us every day. And a decision that must be defended. This is stated by the acting Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov on the occasion of the National Day of Bulgaria. His congratulation for March 3 was published on the official page of the Council of Ministers on Facebook.

In the words of the Prime Minister, freedom is a choice that is "sometimes uncomfortable". A choice to think, not to be silent, not to be afraid of our own responsibility, Gyurov points out.

"It is easiest to accept that freedom is a given. The hardest thing is to admit that it depends on us," he adds.

"Every generation has its liberation and its test. Sometimes it comes in the form of elections. On a ballot. On a decision whether to participate or watch from the sidelines," commented Gyurov.

The caretaker prime minister emphasizes that freedom is action. He recalls that on March 3, we remember those who dreamed of being free.

"Tomorrow someone will remember whether we chose to be," added Andrey Gyurov.
