Head of state Iliana Yotova signed a decree dismissing Angelina Boneva as Minister of Regional Development and Public Works.
On the basis of Art. 99, para. 5 of the Constitution, President Iliana Yotova signed a decree dismissing Angelina Boneva from the position of Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, the Press Secretariat of the Presidency announced.
With the same decree, the head of state appointed Nikolay Naydenov as minister.
We recall that on March 4, Boneva announced that she was resigning for health reasons. Today in parliament, Prime Minister Gyurov stated that acting Regional Minister Angelina Boneva, who first resigned, refused to resign yesterday. She stated that she was asked to resign because she was pressured by Ivaylo Mirchev and Bozhidar Bozanov for personnel appointments.
