"We Continue the Change" does not want Yavor Bozhankov on their lists. He revealed this himself in a post on his Facebook profile.
"Negotiations are pending for the lists, and my colleagues from "We Continue the Change" categorically do not agree with me being part of them. I am sorry to learn this, as I believe it is time to come together and unite, not to divide", he wrote.
He thanked his colleagues from "Yes, Bulgaria" and "Democrats for a Strong Bulgaria", as well as one of the PP cadres, for nominating his candidacy.
"Regardless of what is decided in the coming days, I have given my word to help the coalition in these elections. There is no other political entity that has a chance to represent the democratic community in the next National Assembly. The good result of the coalition is a matter of democracy and a European future for Bulgaria," he also wrote.
A month ago, Nikolay Denkov from the PP categorically stated that Yavor Bozhankov would not be part of the party's lists for the next early elections.
"Yavor Bozhankov will not be on the PP lists. Whether he will be in the DB is a matter of talks and negotiations. We believe that he should not be. The important thing is in what direction we want to go and how to convince people that we are the ones who can achieve the goals that are important to them“, said Academician Denkov.
In an interview yesterday, Yordan Ivanov from DSB confirmed that his party will nominate Lorer and Bozhankov as deputies, even though the PP does not want them, dnes.bg recalled.
"They have nominations from both our structures and from "Yes, Bulgaria", Ivanov said.
