The party's priorities, the main tasks - these are the questions we must have. What is important when drawing up lists is that a team enters that can vote, that must vote so that the priorities are realized. This was said by Acad. Nikolay Denkov in the program "Face to Face" on bTV.
His comment is on the decision of the coalition "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria" Yavor Bozhankov not to participate in the upcoming vote on April 19.
Denkov specified that the PP was ready with its lists 10 days ago. "I don't think we should pay attention to this process. It was absolutely normal. In a coalition of three different parties, this is a normal process. These are different parties, with different understandings and priorities. I really don't understand why it's turning into a big drama", he added.
He also commented on the coalition's decision to have Boyko Rashkov as the leader of the list for the 25th MIR in Sofia.
"The 25th MIR is the place where heavy clashes occur. For me, the clash of Boyko against Boyko has its place. There needs to be determination. We need a person who has proven that he can enter into battles and can win battles. Boyko Rashkov is such a person", explained academician Denkov.
When asked if it is possible for PP-DB to partner with Rumen Radev's party "Progressive Bulgaria", Denkov pointed out: "We have clear priorities. One is related to the pro-European theme. In these turbulent times, it is becoming increasingly important how decisions are made in the EU, ensuring the security of each country, how the defense system of the whole of Europe is developing. All of this is a topic on which, if there is someone else who is ready to work on it - we will work with him. The second topic is the fight against corruption".
