A cruel scandal is brewing from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Citizen Ivan Demerdzhiev has ordered the Secretary General Georgi Kandev to carry out mass arrests in the Kardzhali region.
This was reported by 24rodopi.com, citing well-informed sources.
The meeting between the two took place yesterday. Just a day after Demerdzhiev registered as the leader of the list of “Progressive Bulgaria“ in Kardzhali.
Demerdzhiev announced in a commanding tone that he wanted the “heads“ of three municipal mayors in the Kardzhali region. He demanded the arrest of the mayor of Kardzhali Erol Mumun, of Djebel Nejmi Ali and of Chernoochene Aydzhan Ahmed.
Demerdzhiev's goal is to sow fear in the region and achieve a mandate for Rumen Radev.
We recall that the lawyer from Plovdiv was “parachuted“ by Radev as the leader of the list in Kardzhali.
Demerdzhiev spoke about the arrests of some of the most successful mayors in the region at his first meeting with businessmen in the region.
In addition to them, "Radev's man" ordered the detention of DPS activists under the pretext of buying votes. The entire offensive of the citizen from Plovdiv is aimed at preventing MRF voters from flocking to the polling stations on election day, and at ensuring his entry into parliament even with a modest result.
