A driver died after crashing into himself in the village of Dyulevo near Sredets.
The accident occurred on March 18, at around 8:15 a.m., reports BNT. A report was filed at the Sredets Regional Office about a car that crashed into the fence of a house.
Police and fire brigade teams were sent to the scene. During the inspection, it was found that smoke was coming from the car's engine, but there was no fire.
The body of a 63-year-old man from Sredets was found in the passenger compartment. According to initial data, there are no signs of violence.
The body was transported for an autopsy to the forensic medicine department at the University Hospital – Burgas.
According to initial information, the cause of the accident was loss of control of the vehicle on a straight section of the road. The car veered to the right and hit a concrete fence on a roadside property.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case.
