Days filled with success in the first days of spring, and success that will be a common cause, wished the people of Kyustendil on the city's holiday day, President Iliyana Yotova.
„Then, when we have difficulties and problems, we, the Bulgarians, must hold hands, because there is no difficulty and problem that cannot be solved. Only when we are together, when we are united, can we move forward and leave our children the Bulgaria that we want“, said Yotova.
The head of state thanked from the stage on the central square "Velbuzhd" to the mayor of Kyustendil Ognyan Atanasov for the invitation to be a guest at the most beautiful holiday in early spring.
„I love this city. Every time I return, I remember its thousand-year history – the ancient Pautalia, the city of the Master, whose creative universe has no boundaries and frames in which to place it, the city of Dimitar Peshev – the worthy Bulgarian“, said Yotova. She emphasized that in addition to a glorious past, the city also has a future – youth and perspective.
„There is no such wonderful beauty, especially during this season – in early spring, in this wonderful part of Bulgaria. No one can remain indifferent when everything around blooms with so many colors. The Bulgarian land is so structured that when we respect it and take care of it, it repays us richly and generously, and you, the people of Kyustendil, know it“, Yotova addressed the residents of the city.
“You, with your work, make it so that all Bulgarians can pick the fruits and enjoy them with pride that we are Bulgarians. And this spring is becoming the most important, the most iconic emblem of Kyustendil“, she also said.
Yotova pointed out that in these days Kyustendil is also experiencing another miracle - Bulgarian female beauty. She addressed the winners of the “Kyustendil Spring“ prize, wishing them to be worthy of their mind and beauty. “You are already ambassadors of Bulgarian and Kyustendil beauty and grace. Give us many reasons to be proud of you from now on," Yotova told the girls.
This anniversary year, the Kyustendil holiday "Kyustendil Spring" is dedicated to young people and children - our future. The future is complicated, but we all want it to be beautiful and successful for our children. For us, adults, it is hope and a ray of light in the troubled times we live in, she added.
“Let, as our parents bequeathed us peace and the opportunity to develop our talents, we leave an even richer future to our children. Let today, on this wonderful holiday, this be our oath to them, because they deserve it,“ Yotova also said.
