„Veličie“ will fight for fair elections. This was stated in „120 minuti“ by Prof. Juliana Mateeva - professor of criminal law at the Varna Free University „Chernorizets Hrabar“, who also teaches at the South-West University „Neofit Rilski“. She is the leader of the „Veličie“ party list in the Third MIR - Varna.

According to her, the way in which the party entered the 51st National Assembly is proof of the electoral fraud in 2024.

„We will fight in these elections to prevent to the greatest extent what happened then. This is not just words, but real actions that start with ensuring that all section election commissions have a member from “Velicie“, we have people. Also the participation of observers, including from international institutions. We will provide guarantees that this election is the closest to what Bulgarian citizens will put in the ballot boxes“, she added.

With her in the studio was Brigadier General from the reserve Tsvetan Panayotov, former director of DANS in Varna and second on the list in the seaside city. According to him, a large part of the party's votes were stolen in the previous parliamentary elections and this has been proven.

“My opinion was that a complete cancellation of the elections should be made, since the violations in the other sections that we had indicated were not examined. If a complete inspection had been carried out, there would have been a huge scandal. This was no exception. This is how elections are held and "the results have been manipulated over the past 20 years," he added.

Panayotov commented that even if a revision of international treaties were to be made at this point, there would be no guarantee of a result. He added that "His Majesty" has never announced its intention to leave the EU and NATO. Regarding President Donald Trump's "Peace Board," he said, there are no specifics regarding the statute and nothing has even been filed with the parliament's office about the content of the document.

"There are actions by President Trump to involve NATO member states in a conflict. After all, NATO is a defense organization. What are we going to defend with attacks on Iran? The "Peace Board" is interesting from the point of view of ending the suffering of a population reduced to a terrible existence. I hope this thing will work out, although our party has reservations, the board is presenting itself as an alternative to the UN and the Security Council“, he pointed out and added that they will vote “against“ our participation in the organization.

Mateeva commented that with the exception of GERB and “DPS-New Beginning“, “Velicie“ recognizes all other parties as allies on certain policies. Coalition partnerships have not been discussed.

She was categorical that if they enter the 52nd National Assembly, they will work to restore the Belene NPP project and Bulgaria's energy sovereignty.
