"All signals for political agitation in schools will be transmitted to the Ministry of Internal Affairs". This was said by the acting Minister of Education and Science, Prof. Dr. Sergey Ignatov, at a briefing in the Council of Ministers. He announced that a signal for the distribution of agitation materials to students at a school in Lovech was transmitted to the police, quoted by "Nova TV".
"At this stage, there are no signals for other places", Ignatov pointed out. The law absolutely prohibits political propaganda in general on the territory of schools, not only for the elections, the minister reminded. He added that such cases are a serious violation. In his words, there can always be someone who will think "that he will get away with it".
Ignatov specified that meetings are being held with school principals on the topic. Such was the case with the school principals in Sofia.
