The Central Election Commission made a decision at its meeting today on the number of polling stations abroad, CEC Chairwoman Kamelia Neykova told bTV.
There will be a total of 493 polling stations abroad, compared to 719 in 2024.
In Turkey, the number of polling stations is significantly lower – there were 168, and now there will be 25.
There has also been a reduction in the US – from 55 to 24 polling stations.
Applications to vote abroad in these elections have doubled. Anyone can fill out an application on site and vote.
