The "Road Infrastructure" Agency warns drivers who will travel through the high mountain passes in the country to prepare their cars for winter conditions. Rainfall is expected in the coming days, which will turn into snow in the mountainous areas.
Five snow-clearing machines are working on the road through the "Petrohan" pass; currently, traffic through the Stara Planina passes is operating normally. The road surfaces have been cleaned and sanded. Their processing will continue to ensure traffic safety.
API calls on drivers to drive in vehicles prepared for winter conditions, to drive at a speed appropriate for winter conditions, not to undertake risky maneuvers and not to overtake snow removal equipment.
