The Ministry of Interior mobilizes 200 police officers to counter election crimes

A special communication unit is also being created at the Directorate "SES 112" with additional operators to receive signals from citizens related to the election process

The Ministry of Interior is introducing additional control and rapid response measures to ensure fair and transparent elections. This was announced on his Facebook profile by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior Georgi Kandev.

200 officers of the General Directorate "National Police" will be deployed throughout the country to assist in monitoring and countering election violations and crimes before and on election day.

A special communication unit is also being created at the Directorate "SES 112" with additional operators to receive signals from citizens related to the election process. The unit will operate in the General Directorate of National Police and will monitor in real time the receipt, registration and processing of signals throughout the country.

All signals will be processed on two independent lines to ensure that none will be ignored or delayed.

The Ministry of Interior calls on citizens to be active and responsible when reporting irregularities, added Kandev.
