After a temporary cessation of precipitation and partial breaking of the clouds, in the afternoon hours, it will rain again from the south.
Minimum temperatures will be between 0° and 5°, slightly higher in the southeastern regions and along the Black Sea coast – around 9°, and in Sofia – around 1°.
The weather in Northern Bulgaria will be without precipitation and with more sunny hours. There will be a weak, and in the Danube Plain – moderate northwesterly wind. Maximum temperatures will be between 10° and 15°, in Sofia – around 11°.
On the Black Sea Coast, especially on the southern coast, there will be rain showers in the afternoon. On the Northern Black Sea Coast there will be more sunny hours. There will be a weak, and on the northern coast - to moderate wind from the west-northwest, which will orient itself from the south-southeast after noon. Maximum temperatures will be between 10° and 13°. The sea water temperature will be 8°-9°, and the sea waves - 1-2 balls.
In the mountains there will be significant cloudiness. After noon from the south there will be rain showers, above 1200 meters - from snow. There will be moderate northwesterly, and on the higher parts - southwesterly winds. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 3°, and at 2000 meters – around -2°.
On Wednesday morning the precipitation will temporarily stop, but it will remain cloudy. After noon, rain will fall from the south again, in the mountains above 1200 meters – snow. A light to moderate easterly wind will blow.
On Thursday night precipitation will cover the entire country. Significant amounts will be in southern Bulgaria and in the mountainous regions. The wind will be oriented from the northwest and slightly colder air will penetrate with it. In the lower mountainous regions – above 700-800 meters – the rain will mix with or turn into snow. On Thursday afternoon, the precipitation will decrease.
On Friday and Saturday, the cloud cover will remain significant. Intermittent rain will continue, but it will be lighter. Minimum temperatures will be between 3° and 8°, and maximums between 11° and 16°, lower in the high fields of Western Bulgaria and the Fore-Balkans.
On Sunday, there will be precipitation in fewer places, and the cloud cover will temporarily break. Daytime temperatures will rise slightly.
