The Ministry of Justice has requested a report on Petyo Petrov - Evroto's travels abroad with Sofia City Prosecutor Emilia Rusinova. This was said by Deputy Minister of Justice Tanya Radulovska, quoted by bTV. According to her, if this turns out to be true, Rusinova will be proposed for disciplinary punishment.

"At this stage, we have not received the official report. As far as I know, the Ministry of Interior has received an official report in which Emilia Rusinova's travels with Petar Petrov - Euroto were indeed detected, so we expect to officially receive this information from the border police", commented Radulovska.

"We believe that from the moment it became publicly known that Mr. Petrov is a participant in influencing decision-making in the judicial system, no magistrate can communicate with him in a manner permissible by law. Because ethical rules require hygiene of contacts and it is absolutely unacceptable for a serving magistrate to maintain contacts with persons for whom there is evidence of influence peddling, of unlawful pressure on decision-making bodies in the judicial system," said Radulovska.

Meanwhile, the acting Minister of Justice Andrey Yankulov proposes to the Prosecutorial College of the Supreme Judicial Council to dismiss from office the acting Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov for disciplinary violations.

The Board meets tomorrow.
