The caretaker government will continue to act with decency, responsibly and as a team - no matter how many directions it is attacked from. This was stated by Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov at the beginning of today's government meeting. These days there is no doubt - the caretaker government is resisting attacks that sound like part of the campaign, even though we do not participate in elections, have no parties and do not nominate candidates, Gyurov also pointed out.
The Prime Minister drew attention to the fact that the attacks against the cabinet coincide with the investigations and arrests of vote traders. They are happening at a time when the government is announcing a comprehensive package of measures against price increases. They also coincide with the disclosure of the shared trip of the head of the only prosecutor's office that has the right to investigate corruption, and the man who has become a symbol of corruption in the judiciary. Are these coincidences, the Prime Minister asked.
The Prime Minister pointed out that the actions of the caretaker cabinet are purposeful, transparent and within the framework of the law. Gyurov was categorical that anti-inflation measures will be activated, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs will ensure elections according to the rules. The Minister of Justice will demand disciplinary responsibility for the magistrates who have chosen to follow the same path with the influence brokers, the Prime Minister added.
