A 57-year-old man was severely beaten and set on fire in Ahtopol.
Two men with the initials G.S. and S.S. were arrested for the attack. They are already under a preventive measure of “detention in custody“ after the Tsarevo District Court granted the prosecutor's request.
According to the indictment filed against them, the two acted in collusion as co-perpetrators and caused moderate bodily harm to the victim. According to the prosecutor's office, the crime was committed on March 27, 2026 in Ahtopol, in a particularly painful manner for the victim, with particular cruelty and for hooligan motives.
During the investigation, it was established that the victim was a man of low social status, and the violence was committed in the place where he lived.
