According to him, the Iranian note is not a direct military threat to Bulgaria. Our country maintains normal bilateral relations with Iran and a normal political dialogue is underway, the acting Minister of Defense reassured.
"There are no new requests regarding the deployment of American aircraft and their use", emphasized Atanas Zapryanov. There are no combat aircraft flying over Bulgarian airspace and there is no request for such, the Minister of Defense is categorical.

He assured once again that Bulgaria and NATO are not participating in any way in the war between the US, Israel and Iran. "Bulgaria is integrated into NATO and the Alliance's air defense, so they protect us", the minister reassured once again.
Zapryanov also boasted that a military industrial production plant will be built in Bulgaria together with "Rheinmetall". "Rheinmetall" will also ensure the sale of the production on world markets. The capacity of the military ammunition that will be produced at the plant is so large that their production will satisfy the needs of the Bulgarian army for years to come, the minister pointed out.
"With these enterprises we will have modern production capabilities", the military minister is sure.
