Daniel Mitov: Bulgaria must grow for real - with salaries, industry, investments

"The idea is clear and achievable - over 4% growth, double incomes in industry and Bulgaria to form as a technology center in the region. This cannot be done with political emotions and anger, but with decisions", the former interior minister was categorical

Recently, unfortunately, we have listened to a lot of destructive talk, in this campaign I hear a lot of words like "oligarchs", "dismantling", "models", "degradation", from people who have not installed anything in order to be able to dismantle and have not built anything in order to be able to demolish. This was said for the "Metronome" program on Radio FOCUS by the deputy chairman of GERB, former minister of foreign and interior affairs, member of parliament in several parliaments Daniel Mitov – leader of the GERB-SDF list in 30 MIR Shumen.

"Bulgaria must grow for real - with salaries, industry, investments. The idea is clear and achievable - over 4% growth, double incomes in industry and Bulgaria to form as a technological center in the region. This cannot be done with political emotions and anger, but with decisions", he was categorical.

The Eurozone

"It is not just some symbol. We did not strive for it as a symbol, but it is a catalyst for the economy, an accelerator. While others are still arguing whether to enter, we are talking about how to use it - for more investments, more trust, lower interest rates".

Industry

"In second place is attention to our industry. Transition from the economy of cheap labor to high added value - production, technologies, energy solutions, because the economy is not made with slogans, but with machines, engineers, markets. We are talking about Bulgarian energy at the moment. About how to provide Bulgarian industry and household consumers with cheaper and more affordable electricity by expanding the network, through gas extraction in the Black Sea, shale gas extraction", said Daniel Mitov.

Education, IT and Artificial Intelligence

"Attention should also be paid to education. Less theories, more skills, more people who can create, not just execute. And last but not least - the IT sector. We have been subcontractors enough, it is time to create our own production, even in Artificial Intelligence. And here comes the difference - others say what should be destroyed, we - what should continue to be built. Some are looking for blame, we are looking for growth," added the GERB candidate for MP.

"Our opponents are trying to create political temperature, and we must create an economic perspective," the former minister was categorical.
