As of today, we are opening traffic on the newly constructed last section of Todor Kableshkov Blvd. - 80 meters, with which the boulevard is completely completed in its full width. An inherited problem that we have solved. This was announced by the Mayor of Sofia Vasil Terziev.

The construction and installation activities on the route in the section between Gatio Shishkov St. and Ivan Andonov St. have been completed, after the successful expropriation of private property that was hindering the implementation of the project.

Todor Kableshkov Blvd. is part of the third city ring road and provides a direct connection between Tsar Boris III Blvd. and Cherni Vrah Blvd., improving transport access to the neighborhoods of Krastova Vada, Manastirski Livadi and adjacent territories.

„Direction „Public Construction“ of the municipality strictly monitors all elements of the implementation of the last section of “Todor Kableshkov“ Blvd., so that the construction and installation works are carried out in accordance with the approved project, the regulatory requirements, whereby the construction is completed in full scope, with full technical provision of the infrastructure and ahead of schedule“, said Deputy Mayor Nikola Lyutov.

The boulevard is built with two lanes with three traffic lanes each, sidewalks, bicycle paths and a dividing strip, intended for a future tram route. Three key intersections have been completed – at “Louis Ayer“ St., “Emiliyan Stanev“ St. and “Cherni Vrah“ Blvd., which provide connections with neighboring neighborhoods.

The entire accompanying technical infrastructure has been built – water supply and sewage, electricity and telecommunication networks, gas distribution, street lighting and landscaping, in line with the requirements for a sustainable urban environment.

With the implementation of the last stage, a strategic infrastructure project to improve transport connectivity in the southern parts of Sofia is finalized. The project is financed by the budget of the Sofia Municipality and with funds from the European Investment Bank.
