"Yes, Bulgaria": Look at Hungary, think about Bulgaria! Orban was an internal blocking factor

Look at Hungary, think about Bulgaria! Hungary voted to change the direction of the country's development. That is why the elections are historically important. This is a turning point for Hungary, but it is not the end, but the beginning of the dismantling of a model that made the country the poorest in the EU and the most loyal vassal of Russia.

This is stated in the position of "Yes, Bulgaria" on the occasion of the elections in Hungary. Here is more from the party's position:
In Hungary, the state is conquered. The system built by Orban is in place. The captured courts, media and institutions are deeply penetrated by his influence. The real battle begins now. Orbán had captured 1) the judiciary 2) the services 3) the media. And thanks to this, he distributed public resources to a small circle around himself.
The captured state made Hungarians poorer. And they voted against the captured state. Two years ago, Hungary came in last place in the EU in terms of purchasing power, expressed through actual individual consumption. Hungary's economic growth is also at the bottom of the EU.
In Bulgaria, this model functioned in a softer form for many years, but the government took a firmer course last year - with a strengthening of the grip on the judiciary, services and media and with the use of budget money to finance corruption coffers. Bulgarian citizens rejected this model with mass protests. Just like in Hungary. It is about to be dismantled after the elections. But we also need to see the voter turnout in Hungary.
Magyar categorically framed the choice along the axis of “East or West“, and the result of the Hungarian vote is a clear signal to the EU that Hungary is returning to the European course. This is of great importance for the EU. Orban was an internal blocking factor. He stopped decisions and blackmailed in the interests of Russia on key issues for the EU and NATO. He used the right of veto as a tool for pressure. Even simple “normal” behavior by Budapest will change the balance.
The direction we insist on is clear: a strong Bulgaria in a strong Europe. No other participant in these elections insists on this. Those who cannot or do not dare to say a word since last night after Orban's defeat are the same ones who pointed to him as an example and even consulted with him.
We await with interest the comments of Borisov, Radev and Peevski. Let them say whether or not there are analogies with the Bulgarian situation regarding the conquered institutions. Whether or not there are analogies with the constant efforts to please Russia, to ease sanctions and to restart special relations with it.
These are important topics on which a position must be taken, and not hidden behind vague formulations such as “realism“ and “pragmatism“.
