During a specialized police operation to suppress crimes against the political rights of citizens, following a report in the village of Ivanski, sheets with car make and numbers written on them were seized, the press center of the Regional Directorate (RD) of the Ministry of Interior in Shumen announced, quoted by BTA.
Action was taken on the report on April 10. At around 3:00 p.m., a property in the village of Ivanski, inhabited by a 39-year-old local resident, was inspected. During the course of the procedural and investigative actions, three sheets with written car brands and numbers against them were found.
They have been seized, and it will be checked whether they are related to election trading, the police explained.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated for a crime under the Criminal Code.
The Regional Directorate announced that from April 9 to 13, an increased police presence is planned on the main roads in Shumen district, risky areas and in the areas of temples on the territory of the four regional departments in the region. Specialized police operations will be carried out to ensure road safety, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Shumen indicated.
