The Central Election Commission (CEC) decided to publish links with information on the addresses of polling stations abroad on its website in the section dedicated to voting abroad. This happened during today's meeting of the commission, BTA reports.

The links will refer to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), where information is available on the addresses of the polling stations, the orders for their formation, as well as the lists for voting abroad. The goal is for Bulgarian citizens abroad to receive quick and easy access to up-to-date and official information from the original source.

The proposal was unanimously supported by the members of the commission during the meeting. According to the discussions, this practice will contribute to better coordination between institutions and will make it easier for voters to search for specific data on the organization of voting abroad.

During the same meeting, a sample visualization of a banner for the so-called election map, which is planned to be published on the CEC website, was also presented. The visualization was prepared by “Information Services“ AD in response to a previous request from the commission and is consistent with the discussions held during a working meeting at the CEC.

The proposed banner aims to improve the visibility and accessibility of information related to the electoral process, by making it easier for users to navigate the content of the site. It is expected that after further consideration and possible approval, the proposal will be implemented on the commission's website.

During the meeting, it was stated that the materials are available to the commission members for review, and the topic is to be returned for further discussion and a final decision.
