Bulgaria has received an extension of the derogation for "Lukoil" for another 6 months. This is stated in a license issued by the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the US Department of the Treasury, OFAC, the government information service reported.
The decision on the derogation is two weeks ahead of the deadline that Bulgaria had - April 29.
The license allows transactions involving certain legal entities of "Lukoil" in Bulgaria.
The news from OFAC became a fact after the conversation between Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, which took place on Thursday, April 9.
