During a debate on "Off Air" with Maria Tsantsarova, representatives of the leading political forces raised the topic of economy, inflation and finance, which heated up the debate, "Focus" reports

"We need to be a little more optimistic. We started from last place in 1989, now we are in "Schengen", we are a member of the eurozone," said Delyan Dobrev from GERB during the event.

He commented that the issue of corruption is being used as "election chewing gum".

In his words, if something does not go wrong in the elections, we are about to enter the OECD, which will really make us rich. "This is important for investments, financing and interest rates - this makes people rich" he said.

According to Konstantin Prodanov from "Progressive Bulgaria", we must help the poorest.

"We need to find partners in the EU and review carbon quotas, helping the poor" he said.

Dobrev agreed on this issue.

"Yes, vulnerable groups should be helped, but in a targeted manner", said Delyan Dobrev.
