In case of a shown or filmed vote, the sectional election commission immediately declares the ballot invalid, the Central Election Commission (CEC) announced on Facebook on the occasion of the upcoming early parliamentary elections on April 19.
If the voter shows or films his vote, the ballot is not placed in the ballot box, BNT warned. In this case, the voter is not given a second ballot, he is not allowed to vote again and is not signed on the voter list, the CEC indicated and added that the voter bears administrative and criminal liability in case of a shown and filmed vote.
The CEC publishes information on the rights of voters on election day. Students learned how to vote with paper ballots and by machine at the CEC Open House.
The final number of voters for the April 19 vote is 6,575,151. In 9,354 polling stations in the country, there will be the opportunity to vote with machines, and in 2,641 - only with paper ballots.
