The co-chairs of “Yes, Bulgaria“ Ivaylo Mirchev and Bozhidar Bozhanov Borislav sealed Sarafov's office after he hid from them. The leaders went to the Courthouse building and demanded an explanation why Sarafov was keeping 30 candidate MPs for whom the Ministry of Interior has evidence of vote buying and violating citizens' electoral rights.

“GERB and DPS continue to buy votes throughout the country, but in order not to be caught by the Ministry of Interior, the prosecutor's office is spreading an umbrella over the vote buyers. Sarafov owes answers why the prosecutor's office is being used to spread an umbrella over criminals and scumbags with nicknames,“ Mirchev said.

According to Bozanov, the prosecutor's office is not just putting up an umbrella, but also hiding who these people are - Sarafov does not want people to find out who these vote buyers are and for which parties they are buying.

“While the Ministry of Interior is doing its job, the prosecutor's office is attacking regional police directors, which is scandalous. First they catch them, charge them, and two hours later it turns out that the prosecutor's “inner conviction“ has changed, probably after a call from Sarafov, who in turn consulted with the occupant of the bunker in the “Berlin“ hotel Peevski”, Bozanov said.

The co-chairs of “Yes, Bulgaria” stated that the country is in an unprecedented situation: For the first time, there is a worthy minister in the Ministry of Interior and a general secretary who are fighting against the buyers with all their might. However, the prosecutor's office is not working. It is spreading umbrellas and doing everything possible for the vote buyers to continue serving the “Peevski-Borisov“ model.
