If the ballot with which a voter voted has deviations due to defects and errors in its production, or when there are mechanical damages or stains on it - traces of ink, dots, stains, etc., the vote is considered valid according to Art. 278, para. 2, item 8 of the Electoral Code when establishing the results of the vote. In Dobrich yesterday, following signals from the municipal administrations, it was found that the received batch of ballots contained errors and the necessary actions were taken to provide a new batch of ballots, but from the BNB printing house, the Regional Administration indicated. The ballots were delivered late last night.
New printed paper ballots have also been received by the regional administration in Shumen, its press center reported. They specified that the necessary organization has been created for the distribution of ballots according to the schedule of the municipalities in the region. During the distribution of paper ballots for voting in the Shumen electoral district, which began yesterday, problems were found in some of the batches, related to discrepancies in the numbering in some of the cobs, as well as technical defects.
