A total of 12 parties will receive state subsidies while the 52nd National Assembly is in operation. This is shown by the interim results of the CEC for yesterday's parliamentary elections.

All parties and coalitions in parliament and independent parties that have received over 1% of the votes, excluding those who voted with "I do not support anyone", have the right to state support by law.

The winner "Progressive Bulgaria" registered with the CEC as a coalition of three parties - "Political Movement Social Democrats", "Social Democratic Party" and "Movement Our People".

The second-placed GERB-SDF are a coalition of two parties.

The third-placed PP-DB are a coalition of three parties - "We continue the change", "Yes, Bulgaria" and DSB.

In fourth and fifth place are DPS and "Vazrazhdane", which appeared independently.

Below the threshold for deputies, but above the threshold for subsidies, are also MECH and "Velicie".

In addition to being outside the parliament for the first time, the BSP will also remain without a subsidy, because it appeared in a coalition with 9 other parties. "Siyanie", which is registered as a coalition of two parties, will not receive a subsidy either. APS also remains with over 1 percent, but without state support, because Ahmed Dogan's party appeared in a coalition with "Agricultural People's Union". ITN received less than one percent of the votes.

In coalitions, the subsidy is distributed according to the coalition agreement, and in the absence of one - proportionally to the number of members of parliament from the individual parties. The amount of the subsidy is determined annually by the state budget law, and since 2020 it has been 8 leva (4.09 euros) per valid vote received. Before that, for 6 years it was 11 leva and for 3 years - 12 leva.

The money is transferred to the parties' accounts by the Ministry of Justice in four equal tranches by April 30, June 30, September 30 and December 20.
