Counting hours until the final results of the elections on April 19. Tomorrow the Central Election Commission will announce the final distribution of mandates in the 52nd National Assembly, and the names of the deputies - on Saturday, bTV reminds.

This is clear from the words of the Chairperson of the CEC Kamelia Neykova. At its meeting today, the commission considered complaints related to the vote - among them about a problem and queues for voting in a section in "Studentski grad".

The complaint remains unexamined, and the reason is that it should have been filed on the day of the vote. In addition, according to the CEC members, students can vote in other polling stations in Sofia, where there was no crowding.

Preliminary estimated results show that some of the regions in the country registered an exceptionally high voter turnout.

The highest percentage of voters in these elections was in the 23rd MIR in Sofia. Almost 60% of those living in “Krasno Selo“, “Izgrev“, “Lozenets“, “Triaditsa“, “Mladost“ and “Vitosha“ exercised their right to vote.

Second in the ranking are voters in the Sofia region, where 55.5% of the people voted. The third position is for Smolyan, with over 54% voter turnout.

At the other extreme, according to the Central Election Commission data, are Kardzhali, Razgrad and Shumen - the regions with the lowest voter turnout.

With their votes in places, voters also rearrange the party lists.

In Pleven, the 15th on the list of “Progressive Bulgaria“ Borislav Georgiev displaces the leader Dimitar Zdravkov. Georgiev receives over 4,500 preferential votes.

The GERB voters in Blagoevgrad once again bring the son of the mayor of Simitli to the top position and thus the latter becomes the first. From 22nd place, Stefan Apostolov displaces former Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov with nearly 4,400 preferences.

There is also a significant shift in the third place in parliament. The young addition to the lists of “We Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria“ Anna Bodakova from the 10th position jumps to the top places and receives more preferences than the leader in one of the capital's districts Ivaylo Mirchev.

Within the MRF, the former Minister of the Interior and leader of the list in Burgas, Kalin Stoyanov, was replaced by the third Ismail Osman.

The only party in the 52nd parliament without shifts in preferences is “Vazrazhdane“.

The preferences of some of the formations even caused “internal fire“.

The result of PP-DB in Plovdiv caused the first sparks in the ranks of the coalition. One of the key figures of “Democratic Bulgaria“ Manol Peykov may not become a deputy in the new parliament. The reason is that preferences for Chilo Popov, also from the ranks of the DB, displace him and from second place Peykov becomes third, which deprives him of the opportunity for a deputy seat.

“Manol is the biggest fighter against everything that “Vazrazhdane“ represents. He never gave up. Because parliamentarism is a battle, not a walk in expensive shoes on the carpet“, commented Elisaveta Belobradova.

Again on social networks “Democratic Bulgaria“ called on the first on the list, Assen Vassilev, to choose to be an MP from Haskovo, and not from Plovdiv, and thus free up a seat for both of their candidates. There was also a reaction from “We Continue the Change“.
A completely unnecessary drama that could have been resolved with a phone call, not with tearful or offensive Facebook posts“, said Lena Borislavova.

The leader of the People's Party Asen Vassilev responded to the calls that it was his duty to become an MP where there are the most preferences – Plovdiv.

“However, since we are talking about two candidates from “Democratic Bulgaria“, if the colleagues from “Yes Bulgaria“ and DSB unite around the opinion that it is more important for them that I enter from Haskovo, I will take their opinion into account“, he commented.

Has the dispute been resolved and why did the preferences become a bone of contention – we asked both formations in the coalition. They refused to comment. The final distribution of seats will become clear with the announcement of the names of the new 240 deputies.
