Waiting for the bus in a pleasant and cozy place, and not at broken and scratched stops, is a dream for every citizen. Volunteers from Plovdiv have taken on the task of renovating and revitalizing 10 bus stops in one day. Their large-scale campaign will take place this Sunday, Nova TV specifies.
Under the motto "Prove that you can - Revive a stop", the organizers invite everyone who wants to do something useful for the urban environment and leave a positive mark behind them.
There are nearly 400 stops in Plovdiv. A large part of them are scratched, covered with stickers, with broken glass, with chipped and protruding elements. Their initiative has already been embraced by dozens of volunteers. Tomorrow, 60 girls and boys are expected to join their action.
"There is nothing shameful in this. The point is for a person to have the desire to come with a mushroom, with a smile. Simply to make the city a better place," says Kiril Stamov from the "Prove You Can" Association.
