For the first time, the deputies gathered on November 11, 2024. By the end of it, a total of 166 plenary sessions were held - 159 regular and 7 extraordinary, bTV counted.
237 or almost all of the deputies have at least one unexcused absence. The leader of the DPS-New Beginning, Delyan Peevski, who did not find an excuse for not being at work 16 times, is at the top of this ranking. After him, with 8 unexcused absences, are Ivelin Parvanov from "Vazrazhdane", the chairman of "Velichie" Ivelin Mihaylov and Andrey Tsekov from PP-DB.
Insults, threats and even kicks were not absent in the parliament. For this, the deputies receive penalties. The leader of "Vazrazhdane" Kostadin Kostadinov is at the top of this ranking. He has 19 penalties imposed, followed by Radostin Vassilev from MECH and Toshko Yordanov from "Ima takvi narod".
Here is what we have spent on the trips of the deputies around the country. Over 817 thousand euros for travel, nearly 740 thousand euros for daily allowances and 88 thousand for overnight stays. All this makes a total of almost 1 million and 700 thousand euros.
We have paid far less for the business trips of our deputies outside the country - nearly 300 thousand euros.
