There is no change in the condition of the 14-year-old patient who was injured in an accident near the National Palace of Culture on April 24, Friday, the University Multi-profile Hospital for Active Treatment and Emergency Medicine "N.I. Pirogov" announced.
The boy remains in the children's intensive care unit of "Pirogov" in extremely serious condition. The child was admitted there after a long operation, which was performed urgently on Friday against Saturday by a team of neurosurgeons, BTA recalled.
On Friday, the Ministry of Interior announced that the 14-year-old boy fell from a railing in the area of the National Palace of Culture. He was admitted to the Children's Anti-Shock Ward in a coma, with altitude trauma.
The National Palace of Culture informed that they are conducting an internal inspection of the condition of the facilities after the incident.
