After the seven-day deadline for the April 19 elections expired yesterday, when parties and coalitions had to remove their campaign materials from public spaces, municipalities are beginning inspections today. This is reported by Nova TV.
Depending on the volume of campaign materials that have not been removed, appropriate sanctions are imposed. The fines for violators range from 511 to 2,556 euros.
At the beginning of the election process, parties pay municipalities a deposit of 511 euros, which will not be returned if they do not remove their advertising materials.
