There is a high probability that the new Prime Minister will be the leader of “Progressive Bulgaria“ Rumen Radev, he announced at the entrance to the first session of the 52nd National Assembly, quoted by Nova TV.

Among the priorities of the largest parliamentary group are a regular budget, funds under the PSU and the election of a new composition of the Supreme Judicial Council.
Radev described the split of two parliamentary groups from the PP-DB coalition as disappointing, as this would mean negotiations with more formations to achieve a constitutional majority. According to him, due to the large amount of unfinished work and the strict requirements of Brussels, the adoption of anti-corruption legislation on time cannot be guaranteed. That is why there is a risk for the fourth payment, but Radev promised that maximum efforts will be made in this direction.
