The chairmen of the parliamentary groups and their deputies were announced

There are six parliamentary groups in the new National Assembly

In the 52nd National Assembly, the leaderships of the parliamentary groups were announced, including their chairmen and deputy chairmen, distributed by political formations, Nova TV reports.

„Progressive Bulgaria“

Petar Vitanov was elected chairman of the parliamentary group. Deputy chairmen are Galin Durev, Vladimir Nikolov, Slavi Vassilev and Olga Borisova.

GERB-SDS

The parliamentary group will be led by Boyko Borisov. Deputy chairmen are Denitsa Sacheva, Kostadin Angelov and Rumen Hristov.
DPS

The chairman of the group is Delyan Peevski. Ayten Sabri, Khalil Letifov, Hamid Hamid and Iskra Mihaylova were elected as deputy chairmen.

„Democratic Bulgaria“ (DB)

The leadership of the group has been taken over by Nadezhda Yordanova, and the deputy chair is Katya Paneva.

„We Continue the Change“ (PP)

Nikolai Denkov was elected chairman, and Ivaylo Shotev and Tatyana Sultanova were elected deputy chairmen.

„Vazrazhdane“

The parliamentary group is headed by Kostadin Kostadinov, and his deputy is Petar Petrov.

With the announcement of the leaderships, the parliamentary groups in the 52nd National Assembly officially begin their work in the new political season. Earlier, Mihaela Dotsova was elected chairman of the 52nd National Assembly. Out of a total of 237 registered deputies, 188 deputies voted for her candidacy, there were no opposition, and 49 deputies abstained.
