A 56-year-old worker has died in a work accident at a construction site in Burgas, the scene of the incident reported.
According to initial information, the man fell into a trench and was then inadvertently buried in soil by an excavator. Eyewitnesses say that the incident caused panic among the workers, who tried to dig out the colleague with their bare hands before construction equipment was used to clear the site.
An emergency medical team also arrived at the scene, but upon extricating him, it was found that the man had died. The incident is under investigation.
