Serious accident on the Hemus Highway in the direction of Sofia, in the area of a large retail chain. A bus and a heavy truck collided, resulting in the death of a 73-year-old passenger.
The alarm was given at 1:12 a.m. on the 112 number, the State Department of Internal Affairs reported to NOVA. Traffic police teams immediately arrived at the scene. The passengers in the bus were taken out, and five were hospitalized. 20 people have minor injuries.
A 69-year-old woman is in intensive care with life-threatening injuries. The two drivers - of the truck and the bus - have been detained.
