A drone was downed on Sunday in the waters near the Albena resort, the Navy announced.
The unmanned aerial vehicle was found 10 cables (almost 2 km) east of Albena.
A specialized team from the Naval Base - Varna - the reconnaissance, marking, extraction, transportation and destruction of unexploded ordnance group carried out the operation to destroy the drone in strict compliance with safety measures, the Navy headquarters emphasized.
