The treated wastewater from the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WTP) "Sozopol" meets the regulatory requirements, show the results of a check of the sea water in the area of the beach "Zlatna Ribka", the environmental inspection in Burgas reports.

The inspection was carried out by experts of the institution to establish the quality of the discharged waters and the operating mode of the station.

As part of the inspection, the Regional Laboratory - Burgas at the Executive Agency for the Environment took water samples from the outlet of the station for physicochemical analysis. The results obtained show compliance with the legally defined individual emission limits for all investigated indicators.

During an inspection at the end of July after a signal of problems with the deep-sea discharge facility (pipe), part of the sewage system “Sozopol – Chernomorets – Ravadinovo“ , the eco-inspectors established that there were no deviations in the indicators of the purified water, which is discharged from the station into the sea through it.

The operator “Water Supply and Sewerage – Burgas“ EAD was given instructions to check the technical condition of the facility and take action if any malfunctions are detected.
