Raya Nazaryan: There are no talks on the procedure for a new Supreme Judicial Council, but 160 votes are required

She added that GERB is not in a position to make proposals

There are no talks on the procedure for a new Supreme Judicial Council (SJC), but a qualified majority is required (160 votes of MPs - ed.).

The ruling party only stated which parliamentary groups they would not cooperate with for the said majority, Raya Nazaryan from the GERB-SDF parliamentary group told journalists after a meeting of the parliamentary committee on legal affairs.

According to Nazaryan, there is a lack of publicity. She added that GERB is not in a position to make proposals.
